1988…Third Grade…Mrs.Johnston’s class. We were asked to complete the following statement, In the year 2000 the world will be different because _________________? I cleverly wrote, “there will be flying cars.” Apparently I was about 50 years late on that prediction.

I totally feel ripped off that we don’t have flying cars by now. While I’m at, outside of airports, where are all the moving sidewalks I was promised?
