So now that the secret is out, I have a bunch of stuff that I have been dying to share here in the blog world. This is child number one for the Howe fam and I intend to document and share most of the experience. Over the next week I will share about my first visit to what I lovingly refer to as the “Lady Dr” – Here are my initial reactions of my field trip!

• First thing I saw was 2 women in their late 20’s that looked like they were ready to blow up…seriously at anytime these lady’s could have exploded.
• Apparently one of them was a week past due and the baby inside was already weighing in at 10lbs. That lady was not in a good mood…
• I saw my future flash before my eyes
• They took us into a little room where a lady gave me about 25 parenting magazines (I must look like I need a lot of advice)…and then asked tons of questions such as, Do we do drugs or have a history of rare disease. Fun Times
• They then moved us to another room where that was filled with what seemed like fairly primitive tools…Dude I thought we were living in modern times…there were all kinds of clamps and stirrups and other bizarre looking stuff.
• I must have told God how glad I was to be a dude at least 30 times
• I was the only guy in the whole place
• I was amazed the Dr. could use the words she did and keep a straight face…I had to fight to keep one the entire time.
